1. BEASTS
In Dan.7:2-8 we have 4 great beast come up from the sea. Sea, that is peoples of the earth. The first 3 beasts co-exist when the 4th beast rises. The 1st beast is Great Britain and the United States. The 2nd beast is Russia and communism. The 3rd beast is camouflaged with spots. It has 4 heads or hidden dynasties. (PEER) Politics, Economy, Education, and Religion. 2 sets of wings which is media and communication. The 4th beast is the same as the beast of Rev.13:1-2. It is a one world system or new world order. This beast is still rising out of the sea. It will have 7 heads or dominions, 10 horns or leaders. Then will come up a little horn which is AntiChrist.
APOSTASY
In II Thes.2:3 there will be “a falling away” first, apostasia in Greek. This is defection from truth or divorcement from God.
PARABLE OF THE FIG TREE
In Matt.24:32-34 Mark 13:28-30 the generation which sees this fig shoot “set up” will not die until all these things be fulfilled. This happened when Israel became a nation again May 15, 1948. This coincides with the baby-boomer generation and they have Grey hair.
WHEN SHALL THESE THINGS BE
In Matt.24:3-8, Mark 13:5-8, Luke 21:8-11.
Many shall come in my name (authority) saying I am Christ (Christian) and shall deceive many.
The best example of this is the so-called Rapture. This is a LIE which can easily be disproved by God’s Word. Christ returns at the seventh trump.
Wars and rumors of war.
Nation shall rise (rouse from obscurity) against (along side) nation kingdom against (along side) kingdom.
The words “shall rise” (eg-i'-ro) in Greek means “rouse from obscurity”.
This word “against” (epi) in Greek means “along side” not in opposition to.
Since 1990 (30) new countries have emerged. We now have the global market place or the global community.
Famines. Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
This famine of hearing the words of the LORD is very apparent on TV. Maybe a verse or two then mans’ words for 20 minutes.
Pestilences. Aids, mad cow disease, bird flu and etc.
Earthquakes in diverse places.
This word “earthquakes” (seismos) in Greek means both “earthquake and tempest”.
Look at the hurricanes we have been having.
All these are the beginning of sorrows (birth pangs).
This word “sorrows” (odin) in Greek means “birth pangs of childbirth”.
The birth pangs of a new dispensation, and the contractions are getting closer together. The water may have broke during the tsunami of 2004.
SCOFFERS
II Pet.3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, II Pet.3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
PERILOUS TIMES
II Tim.3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. II Tim.3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, II Tim.3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

On June 6 the U.S. Senate will vote on the Marriage Protection Amendment (MPA) which defines marriage as being only between one man and one woman. Because of a power grab by activist judges like the one in Georgia, the MPA is the only way that the sacred institution of marriage will remain between one man and one woman.
2. All quite well said. Copy pasted. Heres a real link to find all this in plain english.
3. Theologians call the study of End time prophecy "Eschatology." It is a very, very complex field of study, because the prophetic works are not always speaking about what people think they are speaking about - they are often self-referential, refering to events of their own time, but also speaking of the future, if somewhat obscurely.
I would be very, very careful about giving too much credibility to any writers who claim to have the end "Fully worked out." They don't, and Jesus said so - "None knows the hour," as he said. Books like the "Left Behind" series do too much of this - painting out the scenario with a lot of weak theology and poor biblical scholarship.
Here's a website about eschatology.

5. Three schools of thought are accepted within the Reformation family of denominations and churches: Amillennialism (the majority report among most non-Dispensational folk), Postmillennialism (held by most of the Puritan theologians and writers and enjoying a new surge in recent years), and Historic Premillennialism (completely different from Dispensational Premillennialism).
Notice the root word "Millennial" in all of them. That common root refers to the "thousand years" of Revelation 20:2-6 - the only place in the entire Bible where "a thousand years" is used to describe the reign of Christ's kingdom on earth. Biblical "end times" beliefs are preterist - meaning that most (but not all) of the prophecies in the New Testament have already been fulfilled. There are some few, called "hyper" preterists, who teach that all Bible prophecy (including the resurrection and judgment!) have already been fulfilled. Hyper-preterism is heresy!! Historically, the Church for most of the last 2,000 years has taught orthodox preterism (the term "orthodox" distinguishes it from the blasphemous HYPER-preterism which the Church has historically rejected for most of the last 2,000 years). Lots of folks here on this list are new to these things, so let me just very describe orthodox preterism:
Amillennialism: The prefix "A" means "none," as in the words symptomatic (having no symptoms), and asymmetrical (not symmetrical). Amils believe that the "thousand years" is not a literal period of 365,000 24-hour days (give or take 250 extra to account for leap years). So much of the book of Revelation is figurative and there is so much imagery in it, that the "thousand years" is not seen as a literal period of one thousand earth years - but could be tens or hundreds of millennia in length. The term simply means "a very, very long time." It has been 2,000 years already! We Amils believe that we are in "the Millennium" right now! It began with Christ's ministry on earth and continues until His visible, physical return - whenever that may be. Is Christ not now seated upon His throne at the Father's right hand (Col 3:1, Heb 8:1 and 10:12)? And are we, His saints, not even now seated with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:5,6 and 3:10)? Did He not entrust the Keys of the Kingdom to the Church (Matt 16:19)? Did He not render Satan powerless by His death (Hebrews 2:14) and subject angels and authorities and powers to Himself (1 Peter 3:22)? Whether this "millennium" lasts for 2,000 years or two hundred thousand years, Christ reigns with His saints NOW. The return of Christ will be the end of this "millennium." On this point, Amillennialists and Postmillennialists completely agree.
Postmillennialism: The prefix "Post" means "after," as in the words postmortem (after death) and postnatal (after birth). Postmillennialists expect to see the Kingdom of God grow and grow in the world, eventually bringing the whole of human society into subjection to God's law before Christ returns. The only real difference between Amils (like me) and Postmils is what each expects this "millennium" to look like when the Lord returns. We Amils believe that the Lord will return to rescue a small remnant (but when that remnant is combined on the Last day with all the saints who have gone before them in all of human history, an innumerable multitude!). Postmils believe that when the Lord returns He will find the majority of the race of men already subjected to Him. Postmillennialists can also be called "optimistic Amillennialists."
Okay, but what about the Beast and the Tribulation and all that stuff? On most of these things Amils and Postmils also agree: The book of Revelation describes in figurative language, God's judgment upon that generation which rejected and murdered His Son (see Matt 23:36 and 24:34). We know that Revelation was written before the events it describes (you can date the book of Revelation within 14 years by chapter 17, verses 9-10, and we know that the Temple was still in place from 11:1-2. The time from Rome's declaration of war on Jerusalem until the fall of that city was 42 months! Revelation was most likely written around 66 or 67 AD, during the reign of Nero (whose name in Hebrew numerology is 666 - interestingly, in Latin numerology Nero's name is 616 - and most Latin manuscripts of Revelation render 13:18 as "616" instead of 666).
The amazing events in the year 70 AD - which can be found in any standard encyclopedia - demonstrate that Christ's Olivet prophecy (Matt 23-24) was fulfilled just as He said it would be - in that generation. Accounts of historians on both sides of Rome's war with Jerusalem describe darkness at midday, celestial signs, earthquakes, and even voices from above! According to the Jewish historian Josephus, in the Temple just before everything went dark, the priests reported a thunderous voice which said, "Let us remove hence." All the signs in the sky and in the land during the years leading up to the destruction of the Temple were interpreted as omens by both sides. Among the Jews, the signs were interpreted either as omens portending doom or as signs of impending victory over Rome! Among the Romans, the earthquakes, voices, "armies in the clouds" and celestial events were generally seen as signs of impending doom. The empire had been rocked by a succession of emperors, most of whom ascended to power by murdering their predecessors (including a pretended Nero who survived one such attack), and by the time of Nero many Romans had been predicting the collapse of the empire. Most of the events described in Matt 23-24 and in Revelation were fulfilled in the first century! God had declared the end of the Old Covenant (which excluded all but the Jews) and poured out His judgment against Jesus' generation. Jesus Himself said that God had laid upon that single generation "the guilt of all righteous blood shed on earth - from righteous Abel to Zechariah (Mt 23:35-36)" - and of course most importantly, the blood of His own Son. The New Covenant (which includes all races, eliminating the former distinction between Jew and Gentile - see Matt 24:14 "this gospel shall be preached to all nations") was announced with signs and wonders - and the close of the Old Covenant ("the end of the age" in Matthew 24:3) and the judgment of God against the generation of covenant people who rejected and murdered their Messiah was also announced with signs - covenant signs - which followed from the ascension of the Lord Jesus until He brought Roman armies to destroy the Temple (putting a permanent end to animal sacrifice) and leave Jerusalem desolate.
The Tribulation was Roman persecution under Nero (whose own lieutenants called him "the beast" because of his extreme brutality even towards his own family), the Beast of Revelation. The "abomination of desolation" was the declaration of Nero as God in the Temple (accomplished by bringing the Roman banners and standard into the Temple before looting and burning it). It was at least the second such "abomination of desolation," the first having taken place under Antiochus Epiphanes, an Old Testament antichrist who declared himself God in the Temple (Jesus' use of Daniel's prophecy in His own Olivet prophecy further demonstrates that many Old Testament prophecies had or have multiple fulfillments). Revelation is largely fulfilled, yet there may yet be more antichrists yet to come.
Another vital point that historic eschatology has always taught is this: The "rapture" and the Second Coming are one and the same event. The two are not separated by years of time as we were all taught in our Dispie Premil Charismatic churches. The popular "left behind" science fiction sells a lot of books and fills a lot of altar calls with frightened people looking for a way to escape "the tribulation," but it is not Biblical. The very idea of a "rapture" separated from Christ's return was unknown before the 19th century. It is the invention of revivalists who sought to incite a sense of urgency in an apathetic generation. One thing is certain, and on this all true Christians agree: The Lord Jesus Christ will yet return physically from Heaven to judge the living and the dead, to destroy every remaining remnant of evil on earth, and to bring His covenant people to their reward.
6. The whole thing has to do with God's plan of salvation for mankind...his harvests. (Leviticus 23)
God's seven holy days foreshadow His plan of salvation for mankind. Four of the events foreshadowed in God's plan HAVE NOT YET OCCURED. They are:
Feast of Trumpets = the trumpet warnings of Christ's return and the LAST TRUMP, his very return (firstfruits harvest)
Day of Atonement = the binding of Satan for 1000 years
Feast of Tabernacles = the "ingathering"...the millenial reign of Christ with his saints upon the earth
Eighth Day of the Feast (Great Last Day) = opportunity of salvation for many (main harvest) Ezekiel 37 gives us a vivid portrayal of this event and the salvation of many. Also, John 7, esp. verses 37-38, and Revelation 21:6.
The Passover, Days of Unleavened Bread, and Pentecost have been fulfilled.
But, we must keep in mind the point for all of these things...God's plan of salvation for mankind!
7. With all the theologians on here, I'll delegate that question to them. I'm a pan millenialist (its all going to pan out in the end). I'd rather focus on the present time.
8. The formal theological term for beliefs and doctrines having to do with the end of the world / the end of time is *eschatology.* Just about every religion has some eschatological beliefs. The phrase "end-time prophecy" in this context is particular to the beliefs of some Christians in a specific unfolding of events based upon their reading of Christian Bible (New Testament) book of Revelation, and that these events are imminent (about to happen any time in the near future).
While Revelation is a canonical book of the Bible, throughout the history of Christianity different groups have interpreted its words differently. Catholicism, for example, holds that Christ's return is imminent, but it emphasizes that "no man knows the day or hour" (from Matthew). Another view, held by Seventh-Day Adventists, is that the Second Coming has already occured in one context, with its complete fulfillment still pending. A more recognized eschatology in the U.S. is premillennialism, which attempts to create a carefully-structured timetable of events based on more literal readings of Revelation, some Hebrew scripture (Old Testament) prophecy, and the letters of Paul.
Several people, such as William Miller in the 1840's, and Herbert Armstrong in the 1970's, have gone so far as to attempt to fix a date on the Second Coming, leaving their followers dissappointed when the event failed to happen.
More recently, Hal Lindsey's *Late Great Planet Earth* (1970's) and the *Left Behind* series of novels have provided models of what some Christians believe might happen at the end of the world.
In addition to looking up the original Bible references so that you can see them in context, I encourage you to check out the Wikipedia article below, which will give you more information about how different motifs in premillenialism are interpreted, such as the Antichrist, the Beast, the Rapture, and Armageddon.
9. Actually I do! I state all my facts from the Bible.
*Daniel 2:32,38; 7:4; 3:1 "Head of Gold" = Lion = Babylon = King Nebuchadnezzar
*Daniel 2:32: 7:5: 5:25-28; 6:28; 8:20 "Breast and Arms of Silver" = Bear = Medo-Persia = King Darius & Cyrus
*Daniel 2:32; 7:6: 8:21 "Belly and thighs of brass" = Leopard = Greece = Alexander the Great
*Daniel 2:33; 7:7,8,24,25: 8:9,12 "Legs of Iron" = Dreadful Beast = Rome
*Daniel 2:33 "Feet part of iron and part of clay" = Divided Empire
*To start off with DANIEL 7:8,24,25 and 8:9,12--we have to get more information about this beast. Let's look at 2THESS.2:1-12 and REV.13:1-6,11-18; 17:3-18.
*Now we have alot of information about the beast; to start out with; we should find out (2THESS.2:4) "who claims to be God" and is "worshipped"? Let's see; this church (Rev.17:9)"sits on 7 hills" in Rome. It wears (REV.17:4)"purple and scarlet". It is a (REV.17:5)"mother church", so it has daughters or other churches following her. It thinks "to change times and laws." GENERAL CATHOLIC CATECHISM
*It had a(REV.13:1-3)deadly wound that was healed."THE CATHOLIC ADVOCATE (AUSTRALIA), APRIL 18,1929.
(REV.13:18) on the Pope's Crown (tiara) are these letters: VICARIUS FILII DEI; what do they signify? OUR SUNDAY VISITOR, (CATHOLIC WEEKLY) BUREAU OF INFORMATION," HUNTINGTON, IND., APRIL 18, 1915.
ROMAN NUMERALS FOR THESE LETTERS ARE: V=5; I=1; C=100; X=10; U=5; D=500; L=50 = THEY ADD UP TO 666.
**Now the 10 horns represents kings or kingdoms and 1 comes up among the them and destroys (DANIEL 7:8,23,24)three. THE 10 HORNS ARE POLITICAL: ANGLO-SAXONS, FRANKS, ALAMMI, OSTROGOTHS, LOMBARD, SUEVI, BURGUNDIANS, VISIGOTHS, VANDALS, HERULI, AND THEN A LITTLE HORN COMES UPON THE SCENE THAT IS RELIGIOUS-POLITICAL THAT HAS DESTROYED THE HERULI, VANDALS AND OSTROGOTHS. NOW DETERMINING WHO THE HORN IS: A.C. FLICK, THE RISE OF THE MEDIAEVAL CHURCH. (PUTNAM'S 1909 ED.)PP.148-149.
*FROM ALL THE CLUES; WE KNOW IT'S THE ROMAN EMPIRE (REV.17:4; COMPARE TO MATT.27:28 AND MARK 15:17).

10. I memorized 18 chapters of Revelation while in college and shortly thereafter, Mainworry doesn't know what he is talking about and is representing Watchtower madness again, he just said Christ comes back at the seventh trump. This is impossible because of these quotes from the mad scientist Charles Russell who Mainworry is emulating.
“Final end of the kingdoms of this world and the full establishment of the kingdom of God, will be accomplished by the end of 1914” Time is at Hand, p.99.
I am sitting in my living room at 2 in the morning typing this on March 19, 2005 and the kingdoms of the world are still here. One lie makes a man a liar. Did Russell’s prediction in this paragraph come true? The Jehovah’s Witnesses claim to always represent Jehovah and that is why they are named such but a decision has to be made right here, was Jehovah right about what he said about a false prophet in Deuteronomy or not? (Of course He’s right so defending Russell is to contradict Jehovah! Think long and hard about this before continuing.
“the battle of the great day of God Almighty, which will end in A.D. 1914 with the complete overthrow of earth’s present ruler ship, is already commenced.” The Time is at Hand, page 101. (quote made in 1889). We can call this another clarification of a false prophet or a separate false prophecy but a skunk by any other name still smells bad. Russell is a False Witness teaching Jehovah’s Witnesses the Bible. This earths’ present ruler ship is still alive and kicking 91 years later!
“Even the republics will disappear in the fall of 1920.” The Finished Mystery, page 258. This teaches the wicked will come to their end in the spring of 1918. This wicked system, governments, leaders, rulers never ended in 1914, 1918, or 1920. Do we see a pattern of speculation, clarification when the date passes and a new speculation begins. All lies!
“Have we more reason, or as much, to believe the kingdom will be established in 1925 than Noah had to believe that there would be a flood? Our thought is, that 1925 is definitely settled by the Scriptures…” W.T. April 1, 1923. This contradicts “Surely there is not the slightest room for doubt in the mind of a truly consecrated child of God that the Lord Jesus is present and has been since 1874.” W.T. 1/1/24 p5. A question must be asked here, when did Jesus really come back? Some quotes say 1914, this paragraph says 1925, and if Jesus was already here in 1874 why wasn’t the earthly kingdom established then? Jesus never came back in any of those years, all false claims.
What year did Jesus Christ begin to reign? “The Bible chronology herein presented shows that the six great 1000 year days beginning with Adam are ended, and that the great 7th day, the 1000 years of Christ's Reign, began in 1873.” The Time is at Hand, page 2. (forward). Any Bible scholar worth a nickel knows Christ will return to the Mount of Olives visibly and will reign out of Jerusalem bodily and those who don't like it can lump it! When Christ begins His reign there will be 1000 years of peace. 1873 was a terrible guess! Study Zechariah, and Revelation 1, 19, 20. Mainworry is not the guy to study the Bible with, he only believes and knows what the Watchtower and Awake tell him, I know, a bunch of us on here have studied with Jehovah Witnesses and none of their nonsense makes any sense.
