What is the Message?

Today's stock market meltdown & Euros / end time prophecy fulfillment?

I can see today being the beginning of the end of the US. I read on MSNBC that Europe is pumping billions (90 billion?) into our economy to help us. This could be the beginning of the one world currancy, Euros.

End time prophecy experts... do you agree?

I am saved and so this is more exciting than devastating to me. It also means I need to pray more and to be a witness as God leads me.

I can imagine that during the Great Depression people thought for sure it's the end. But they didn't realize how much more prophecy needed to be fulfilled. Those who have been given wisdom from our Lord Jesus, do you think that would be the case today?

3. NO, I don't think so. The Dollar will bounce back, just not as strong.
As for the "Euro" companies, that is "10" Companies putting $7. Billion each, equaling $70. Billoin. Not $90 Billion.
If World wide "Euros" were wanted, WHY would thew Euro Union shore-up the Dollar!

Just look at Russia and Iran as prophesied in Ezekiel about the two of them getting together to attack Israel.

The Sea of Galilee will run dry and today it is at its lowest and they are having a real crisis in Israel because of it.

I think the US will see the greatest devastation before we see anything going on in Europe.

8. There is no specific end time prophecy regarding an economic meltdown......however:

The United States is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible that we can clearly identify. There are some who say the US is the Whore of Babylon but we do not know that for sure.

We do know that in the war of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38 and 39) Israel will stand alone in the face of her enemies. Currently the US is the only nation in the world supporting Israel. If the US is taken out of the picture then Israel will truly be alone.

How could the US be taken out, after all are we not a superpower? How about an economic melt down that leaves us crippled to the point we can no longer field an effective military response of any sort.

9. If it is or isn't a sign I'm not sure but wouldn't doubt it and I do know it will only be a few more years until the Rapture so I'm working harder on my Faith and my personal relationship with God. I don't know about you, but I see Jesus being rejected at an alarming rate:

11. No, it's not the end of the world. We have the stocks in America, black holes in France, and hurricanes in the Gulf. Life is just hostile that way. None of it is a sign, for we live in a signless age. Money is just unstable like that.

Just because your president has screwed up your country doesn't mean the rest of us are swirling the toilet bowl with you. The fact that the Europeans have 90 billion spare Euros around to help you out should tell you something.

13. No. It's the result of years of deregulation by the Christian right voting in the Gingrich Reign of Error. It was predicted back in 1995 by economists (not prophets) that we were creating the ingredients needed for a depression.

Contrast the actions of Harding and Coolidge and you'll see why the great depression landed in Hoover's lap.

15. No, this is a superstitious belief and you're demonstrating why superstition is so dangerous. Please, pick up a copy of a book like The Demon-Haunted World by Carl Sagan. We've been plagued with superstition since the beginning of recorded history, and despite the crutch it may provide is in certain scenarios, we're so much better off being rational.

Edit: Frankly it's frightening that people, especially grown adults, *especially* in positions of power, believe this sort of thing. You may as well live in fear of werewolves (which people in the Dark Ages actually did).

17. You are very wise indeed to see what is happening in our economy from a prophetic standpoint. Many prophecy experts believe, and I agree with them, that the Antichrist will head up the European Union one day (Rev. 13). With Europe now pumping billions into our economy tells me that not only a one world currency is certain, but a one world government is on the horizon.
