OMG, What if Bible End Time Prophecy is coming true?

Almost every televangelist and most bible experts seem to agree that end time prophecy is taking place.

2. I hope this is trolling. If not, get a clue. Man has been great at doomsday predictions since the beginning of recorded history.

5. OMG, we're all going to die! The end-of-time crap currently circulating has got to be the biggest non-story of all times! Who in their right mind could believe in such a thing?

6. Every one of the thousands of people who have foretold the end of the world...has been wrong. What makes fearmongering bible experts and corrupt televangelists so right now?

They are just putting the fears on people to make them boneless and pliable.

7. Personally I don't think it is... I think people are almost too aware and tense about the subject that it can't happen just yet. Revelation says that the end will come when everyone least expects it.
I'd be curious to hear your end of it, too, though. See all the pieces have to fit together, and I think some are missing...
I know you're probably thinking about Haiti, but what disasters have struck the rest of the world recently? Death and destruction worldwide is what Revelation predicts for the end times...
And who would you consider the antichrist?
Anyway, it doesn't really matter as much if you have peace in Jesus Christ. I read an article in a science magasine at college not too long ago that said scientists have experimented with dark matter, which is extremely dangerous, and the effects of their tampering could cause the entire universe to vanish in a split second. Any second.
It does seem a bit far fetched but when you think about it, God has the power to make anything possible.
So maybe the world will end in 100 years, maybe in 2012, maybe in 3 minutes... But if you accept Christ into your heart it doesn't make a difference. You have nothing to be afraid of.

8. Every generation since the fall of Jerusalem has been convinced that they were in the end times. Now you are. What a surprise.

9. Sam, with all due respect, I wouldn't trust the televangelists. Sure they may talk about the God, but just like Sylvia Browne who was a Television Celebrity psychic, I sometimes think that they are just on television for show as well. I mean they seem like they are genuine, it's just hard to tell.
To answer the question about the end times, things have been going on that appear like the end times-probably since time ever began. Just live your life. If it happens then it happens. I'm not going into the whole "get right" routine, because I feel like everybody is entitled to do what they want to do, and I won't judge. My advice, is not to worry, just live :)

In Hos 9:10 Israel is likened to a fig tree. As one of the signs of the end of the age and the time of his second presence, Jesus gave a parable concerning the fig tree. We quote, "When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh. So likewise ye, when ye see all these things, know that it [the messianic kingdom] is near, even at the doors."-Mt 24:32, 33

11. And that's no different from in the year 100, 500, 1000, 1500, 2010, and every year in between, and it will continue to be the story for the next hundreds of years. Just a story. Relax.

12. Even if a very straight forward explanation about future events were to be told to mankind, would they pay that much attention to it anyway? NO! Even after the "second coming" of Christ takes place, will the human governments of the world want to hand over the reins of power? NO AGAIN! All of the armies of the world will gather together to battle against him instead. They won't like their "free moral agency" brought to an abrupt end. Some appreciation towards someone who will rule with equity & justice towards everyone for a desperately needed change & restore the original garden environment that we were initially introduced to as a bonus plan. But....that's not all! Imagine being able to live an extra 1000 Earth years & experience first hand how much nicer & safer this planet will be without our bungling priests & politicians misrepresenting the proper way to live. If end time biblical prophecy is coming true, then for all of our sakes I hope it becomes truer faster. Look around! Even the scoffers can't deny that our race has done such a lousy job in taking care of this planet & each other. It's time to bury this dinosaur of a system! Our collective worldwide character is in dire need of an overhaul.
