A question for Christians about Islamic terrorism and Bible prophecy?
I have been listening to some pastors who claim that God has given them a warning about possible destruction that is coming upon America. Many pastors are convinced that there are Islamic terrorists acting as sleeper cells in America and are planning a major terrorist attack. I do believe God will allow America to suffer just to wake them up. But if this attack happens, do you think the Muslims in America who claim to be peaceful will defend America, or will they support the Muslim terrorists?

1. the more the western world goes against Gods will the worse it will get .
2. There are Muslims who have already been defending America over the last 10 years.
3. Free will is always there, so don't count that out. And I'd like to point out that any pastor who integrates conspiracy theories into their sermons aren't men of God but cultists.
4. Your attacks will not happen.
5. Only time will tell
6. Pastors who preach that message have an agenda. They try to convert people into Christians by fear. These messages are their own interpretation of the Bible and not God's words. God will hold them accountable for claiming to speak for him. The Bible's message has always been about peace, love, and uniting people, not spreading a message of hate, stereotyping, and prejudice. This spreading of fear and suspicion only proves that they are not one of us Christians. 1 John says that people prove they are Christians by their love. He who hates his brother is a murderer and you know that no murderer has eternal life. Test the spirits to see if they are of God; many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Terrorists use religion as an excuse to further their political ideals. They are not endorsed or supported by the majority of Muslims. If such a scenario would happen, which is doubtful, American Muslims would not join in the violence. It goes against the tenements of the Quran.
7. If there are lots of attacks the whole middle east will become a nuclear wasteland.
8. I have heard some ex-muslim Christians say there is no moderate or radical islam - only islam. There are interesting parallels between what happened to the northern kingdom of Israel and what is happening to us with the muslims. The people of the northern kingdom had gone so much into sin, primarily idolatry, that God let their enemies carry out an initial attack on them. Instead of responding with repentance, they're leader made an arrogant speech - "the bricks have fallen, but we will rebuild with quarried stone, the sycamore has been cut down, but we will replace them with cedars". Tom Daschle responded to 9/11 - an attack by islamists - with this same speech, quoting from Isaiah 9:10, and not realizing it was a harbinger of the judgement of God about to fall. So we brought in the quarried stone and began work on One World Trade Center to replace the towers and be the tallest building in the US. A nearby sycamore that had been felled by a projectile from the northern tower was replaced 2 years later with a cedar. Whether this means anything, people can judge for themselves, but it was God's answer to the northern kingdom that may answer your question - "Therefore the LORD shall set up The adversaries of Rezin against him, And spur his enemies on"
