What is the Message?

How would you describe the relationship between Jesus and prophecy?

This certainly shouldn't be an easy answer.
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." (Matt. 24:36) Based on this, is there any assumption to what Jesus knew of prophecy. He spoke of the future times, from the destruction of the Temple to the future times.

Also, was this information gathered by clairvoyance or the gift of prophecy by God.

5. Gaius. The Lord Jesus is the one who send the prophets. He is one with the Father. There is nothing hidden from Him. If Jesus speak as a man, in His human body, he may say (Only God knows about this thing or that thing) If He speak as God Almighty He knows every thing past present and future.
Remember that Jesus learned as baby as we do ourselves.

Could one travel through the Middle East today and say the same 'prophetic' things as then?

Could one read of the hypocrisies of prosperity theology then and see examples of its practice today in fundiegelical churches?

Could one speak of sin against the innocent then and visit the Vatican today?

Could one say your eternal life will be based on your deeds on earth then, and say the same today?

What is, after all, jesus' eternal life but his message of Social Justice?

What is, after all, Hitler's eternal life but his message of ethnic superiority and hatred?

Our eternal life, hon, is what others remember of us after we're dead. End of story.

the law and prophets (prophecy) were until John, but
since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and
every man (of child/man) presseth into it: Luke 16:16

so the chanGe is also from child to man,
which is allegory for from law to grace,
which is allegory for from lie to truth

propheCy = gloom and doom... law
propheSy = groom and broom... grace

propheCy puffs up to highminded... fails
propheSy edifies & exhorts higher... never fails

8. A prophesy is what God tells His prophet to tell His people. Jesus was no exception in being obedient to His father. God apparently does not want us to know the exact hour of the Revelation but He did warn to look for the signs and be prepared. Obedience!!!

flood, Gen.9:35,40, died yr 2006,none know the day and the hour. Son #11,
Shem at 2, 35, 30, 34, 30, 32, 30, 29= 222nd yr, Terah born, dies yr 2083.
Gen.11:10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24= Terah born, dies age 205, Gen.11:32.

So Abraham is born year 2008[after Noah died yr 2006], and at age 75, Gen.
12:4, is year 2083, Abrahamson #20, of Jesus genealogy, gets the covenant.
Moses is age 80, Exo.7:7; 12:37,41, covenant is 430th years old, yr 2513.
Samuel age 80, 450 years after Exodus, year 2963, king Saul dies in 26 yrs,
king David dies in 40 years, 2Sam.5:4,5, 1Ki.2:10,11, king Solomon dies in
40 years 1Ki.11:42; year 3069, 997 BCE.

Judah kings end 391st year, year 3460[3419 Jw's bible students, 607/606 BCE,
now at 2011 CE], was 2617 years ago.
This world at Matt.24:3,36, gets more near to Rev.20:1-6, the 1000 yr reign of
Christ Jesus, 7077 years have been examined, but God gives no day and hour
that he alone knows out of the 7130 years given to Rev.21:1-5, Matt.24:3,21-24,
he could cut it short, 128 to 130 years belongs to God's day six, when God's
Day seven ends, Gen.2:1-4, Heb.4:1-12, all of God's days[Psm.90:4; 2Pet,3:8];
are one day. Could it be 49,000 years added to what?

10. Jeshua (Jesus) was as the Church of Smyrna, the gift of Smyrna is intuition, the gift of teaching others to see truth, the faith they call forth in others opens doors to insights, knowing things without being told. Jesus also talked about the past as if he was there, suggesting a knowledge of reincarnation.
