The situation in the middle east seems to be moving away from bible prophecy?

With everyone saying that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled everyday, i don't see that. I cannot connect what is going on the middle east with the Bible.

1. Are you referring to any chapter/verses in particular ? the bible does not go into specific details.

2. And how old are you? And you are still reading the bible? Are you serious or do you expect me to take you seriouly?

3. I find eschatology interesting, but I don't try to hammer a square peg into a round hole.

We'll know when it happens.

4. chapter 24 of mathew says that there will be nations rising against each other and wars being fought which is happening today

5. Sovereign God only knows.

6. I don't think Lebanon was even mentioned in the Bible. Neither was Isreal being armed with jet fighters and the nuclear bomb in the Bible either, so I guess you're right.

7. Isaiah 19 talks a great deal about Egypt. It says that Egyptians will fight against Egyptians. It has happened in the past and is still happening. Bible talks about countries surrounding Israel, uniting and rising against it. The world is changing before your eyes. Egypt has now allowed armed ships of Iran to cross the Seuz Canal. It is very dangerous for Israel. The word of God will not change. It will come to pass.

8. You need to find a good teacher, one who knows the various beliefs, the proper reading of scripture and modern terminology to relate what is happening in scripture to what is going on today. It certainly isn't easy to understand with limited knowledge. It takes a lot of study to comprehend it all and at this point, only some of it really makes sense.

Another thing to know is that God presents things on a very long term, overall viewpoint. Like daily volatile ups and downs in the stock market often don't show the overall trends, neither does the news of the day show long term trends unless you know what to look for. I'm reading a book about societies and cultures of the world found in my library that is helping me understand this greatly.

I find multiple sources and viewpoints help. Check some of these:
