Is the Egypt Riot part of the bible Prophecy being fullfilled?

If you see Isaiah 19:

I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian—
brother will fight against brother,
neighbor against neighbor,
city against city,
kingdom against kingdom.
The Egyptians will lose heart,
and I will bring their plans to nothing;

Does it look like the prophecy being fullfilled?? Either way, it is proven that men can't rule the earth apart from our creator God. Only Jesus can rule with peace!!!

1. Haha thanks for the entertainment.

2. Grasping at straws

3. Possibly, though according to other prophets arabs are also people of god. The arabs in Egypt are nothing like the ancient egyptians. They have already been assimilated.

4. Well, since the Egyptian people seem to be gaining ground, not 'losing heart'? Only if you're really desperate and utterly biased.

5. Here's a list of internal conflicts that Egypt has been involved in just since 1800:

So, care to explain to me why this particular nearly bloodless political upheaval constitutes a fulfillment of biblical prophecy, when all these other conflicts weren't?

6. Your deity of choice is a political agitator who stirs up trouble just to get people fighting against each other?

No wonder the Romans crucified him.

What exactly is the point of a “prophecy” that isn’t predictive? So far all the examples that people have come up with have been identified in retrospect: something happened and then somebody pointed to it and said “hey look, a prophecy came true”. To me that suggests nothing more than liberal interpretation of the scriptures to conveniently fit a random event. If they really are prophecies, they could be used to predict events – surely that’s kinda the point of prophecies, isn’t it?

So… if the biblical prophecies really are prophecies, would somebody please tell me exactly when and where the next prophecy will be proven, and exactly what will happen?

Also, please explain a few things to me:
1: as others have mentioned, why is this civil conflict the fulfillment of a prophecy and not the ones before it?
2: You claim "it is proven that men can't rule the earth apart from our creator God". Please provide this alleged proof.
3: If only Jesus can "rule with peace" then why is he allegedly stirring up conflict? That doesn't sound very peaceful to me.

7. No.
And all it "proves" is that dictators are unpopular.

Peace.

8. Seems like it

9. So what else is new? Revolts and rebellions are a part of human history. I predict the sun will rise tomorrow morning. When that happens, will you bow down to me as a prophet?

Now let's see what happens when a biblical prophecy is more specific. Ezekiel prophesied that Nebuchadrezzar would attack Egypt and that Egypt would be uninhabited for 40 years.

Never happened, and there is no way it can happen since Nebuchadrezzar is long dead.

Also, see my answer here about Ezekiel's prophecy about Tyre.
