Unrest in Egypt and the end time prophecies?
Does anyone think that what is just now happening in Egypt has anything to do with the end time prophecies that are predicted in the bible?

1. It has far more to do with a corrupt and oppressive political system that's been in power for 30 years.
2. I would say, pack your bags, this is it.I have waited for a long time for this.
3. What end times? Are you referring to Jesus who told his followers his return was to be before their deaths? I guess this would be consider another false prophecy then. In Revelation 22:12 (see also verse 20), Jesus declares, "I am coming quickly" to render judgment on mankind.
To God, a thousand years is like an earthly day that has already passed (Psalms 90:4). It is a fleeting moment for God relates to the concept of time in eternal terms. Man could not relate to a day of a thousand years; but he can relate to one of twenty-four hours. As a result, "quickly" used as a promised time interval, must be understood in its simplest earthly definition as occurring in the near future otherwise it is used deceptively. Jesus did not come back "quickly," as promised, to judge mankind. The time has long past that one can claim Jesus will come back "quickly." Thus, what we have in Revelation 22:20 is a false prophecy.
4. Possibly ! New Egyptian leadership that might unite the Arab world into pushing at the king of the north.
Notice the setting for this prophecy is the end time. (Daniel 11:40 "At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. Daniel 11:41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. Daniel 11:42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape.) Bible directions are based generally from Jerusalem so Egypt and the arab nations are south of Jerusalem and Germany and Europe north of Jerusalem. Notice it says Egypt will not escape so indications are that it is a part of the king of the south. The king of the north most likely Germany and a united states of Europe.
5. Every day that passes on this Earth is one more day closer to the fulfillment of all the prophecies made in the Bible. It will all happen as it is described.
And when the Lord Jesus said He is coming quickly, He means just that, and is giving the earth time for repentance up until the last moment. And when that time comes, the faithless and evildoers that will have to face Him will wish that He had not returned so quickly. So do not mock His word, unbelievers; for He is at the right hand of God even now, He holds all things in His hands, and will have dominion over all the earth, and all else that has been ordained for Him to rule.
"For every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
6. Please show me a time in the last 6000 years when there wasn't unrest in Egypt.
