What is the Message?

Will the world end in 2012?

I just read this information about the Mayan calendar of what came true about and it all makes since. But i know the calendar ends in 2012 it never says the "world will end" so do you think the calendar will start over?

1. The Maya predicted the return of "Quetzalcoatl" a white bearded god from the East, who had assisted them in setting up their great civilization; Thought to be a survivor of the legendary Atlantis. The Spanish conquistadors arrived on queue. It would appear the Maya were not expecting a god that would nearly wipe them out since they welcomed the conquistadors with open arms.

2. The Maya predicted the existence of a black hole at the center of our Galaxy, a black hole they called "HUNAB KU"; their central sun and creator of all. In recent years, Modern Science confirmed the existence of a black hole at the center of our Milky Way galaxy, from whence all matter comes from.

3. The Mayan Calendar predicted a total solar eclipse for 1991 and 1999; they both occurred on schedule. These two events were used to synchronize our calendar (The Gregorian Calendar) to the Mayan Calendar. The end of the Mayan Calendar coincides with the Winter Solstice of 2012 (12-21-2012).

4. The Mayan Calendar predicted an eruption of cosmic energy rays from the back hole would occur in 1992, twenty years prior to 2012. This energy would help create aggressive sun spots and bring increasingly hotter temperatures to Earth. We are now witnessing the affects now and our pollution is only making things worse. The cosmic energy rays were witnessed and confirmed in 2004.

5.The Mayan Calendar predicted a change of consciousness from left-brain thinking to right-brain thinking (Logical to Intuitive) in the same time period as above. From this, some deduced the melt down of the worlds paper currencies in a period between Nov. 2007 and Oct. 2008 as humanity loses confidence in the abstract (paper currency) and embraces the more concrete, such as gold and other precious metals.

There is no "End of the World" Maya prophecy for 2012; Rather, they predict the "End of the World as we know it". Great changes are expected to happen, including more natural disasters followed by a change in consciousness and a time of peace.

yeah all this is interesting in a historical sense but its nothing to dwell on.
people have been predicting all kinds of things (y2k for example) that never happened
recent research has disproved this mayan calendar theory anyways.
2012 will not be the end of the world.

The Mayans made no predictions about the end of the world.
One of their long cycles ends in 2012, and another one starts. Some semi-educated psuedo-archeologist found an inscription, interpreted it badly, had his mistake pointed out to him by real scholars of Mayan writing, but refused to admit his mistake. He is now making some money selling his idea. And the internet is being used to perpetuate this myth. In 2012 nothing will happen anymore than it is already happening.

6. no. You'll be laughing about this once the time hits for the so called "Doomsday" passes and we're all alive.
If not, then you probably can find the time to find a chick and do it one last time.

7. It only depends in the mind of our LORD GOD if HE wants to end the world in 2012... but i wont believe in the Mayan or whatever source of predictions except the words of GOD ALMIGHTY...

It was already said or predicts ago of some people, if you remember the Y2K (2000-millenium year), they said on that said year(2000) was the armageddon, the judgement, destruction of the universe, and blah blah blah... but it never happened..

Only GOD knows and He is the only one can tell when He will be the end of the world...

I think they either stopped writing or it git destroyed during the spanish conquest like they destroyed everything else of maya, the aztec, inca, toltec, taino peoples. #5 is false btw just think about that 1 for a little while. #4 is false. Nothing escapes a singularity "black hole" & currently there are no sunspots (according to NY Times a few weeks back) & the heat on earth is normal 4 earth believe it or not. During the Jurassic Period of earth temperatures easily reached 140° F before noon, washington d.c. bordered the Atlantic, most of europe didn't exist there were no Ice Caps... & there were considerably higher CO² levels than there are now. 12-21-2012 is approx. when the solar system transitions from Pisces 2 Aquarius the next transition after this 1 will b in approx. 2000 years from then.

9. Does the world end and we all die on December 31 of every year? No.
Thats all thats happening with the Mayan calendar. Its just a REALLY long one. And you can't go out and buy another one because, well, they didnt make one.
