Today... How does it relate to bible prophecy?

What is going on in the world today and how does it relate to bible prophecy? Israel in particular? The United States? Hamas? Gaza? etc...

1. Nothing really. Just a typical day in the world. The end of the world could be thousands of years from now.

Like Christ said there would be wars, revolutions, rumors of wars and earthquakes but these things would come and pass not necessarily meaning the end times. We have had those sorts of things for 2000 years and still counting. Anyway, whenever it comes it will be when least expected like a thief in the night as He went on to say.

I see one big glitch to the prophecy at this point in time with respect to TV evangelists like Haggee and Van Imp et al. The temple in Jerusalem is to be restored but the Muslim Dome Of The Rock sits where the temple would be. Should the Israelis send in a demolition crew any time soon we'll have an Armageddon much quicker than we think without any Anti - Christ or tribulation in the picture.

4. I believe what we are seeing today is all the player who are involved in the end time prophecy all those that are going come against Israel is lining up even the church God is dealing with that because he says Judgment first begins in the house of the Lord

5. Wars and rumors of wars...
The parable of the fig tree... Israel becoming a free nation again in 1948.
The one world governmental body... is trying to form as we speak...
which won't completely form until Satan (pretending to be Jesus) comes down to Earth (first, peacefully and prosperously).... Then we have 5 months until Jesus' return... When the 2 witnesses are killed... that tells us we have 3 days left...

YEP ! We are getting pretty close.
Hold on tight boys and girls...
You don't want Satan to "fly you away".

6. Check out the beginning of Psalm 2, paralled with Revelation... oh, maybe chapter 15 or so?

Read the Revelation like a simple, straightforward book. It's very easy actually; just don't inject symbolism where the text doesn't say there's symbolism, and you'll get a pretty cohesive vision.


Actually, your easiest answer also might be in Zechariah 12.

7. The war with Hamas in Gaza specifically not so much, but it is amazing to me how the Israeli troops have been so well protected in this offensive. Hamas has had all sorts of booby traps and ambushes for them and I think I have only heard of one soldier being killed by Hamas fire. The majority of the 10 deaths were friendly fire. That is biblical proportioned statistics for a ground war. The other interesting thing with the Gaza operation is how the world is really turning on Israel like the Bible said would happen in the last days. It could be a fulfillment of Psalm 83 war where Israel will wipe out it's neighbors. Read it and see if it doesn't sound like today's headlines. If Syria attacks, I wouldn't want to be in Damascus. Check out Jeremiah 49:23-27. It sure sounds like they get hit with a nuke to me.

Another big thing to watch for is an Iran & Russia strengthening alliance, and them forming militarily against Israel. Also watch for an increasingly poor relationship to develop with Turkey. They have been allies with Israel for quite some time, but the Bible says they (Gomer) will fight against Israel with Russia (Gog, Magog, Meshech & Tubal) and Iran (Persia) along with a few more middle east nations in Ezekiel 38. So watch for Turkey to become increasingly hostile towards Israel as well.

He goes into a lot of detail about the Ezekiel 38 passage, and If you are at all interested in bible prophecy, I think you will find it fascinating. I sure did!
