Anyone out there who thinks Obama is fulfilling Bible prophecy?
How many agree that Obama is paving the way for the antichrist's one world government?
Public Comments
1. No.
2. No, I think that's a way to slam someone you don't like by pretending to be piously religious about it.
False piety impresses no one.
3. Uh. No. Get over yourself and your racist concepts. Won't help ya in life.
4. Of course, it is so obvious, no one of faith can fail to see it.
5. Not me. The antichirst is anyone against Christ. The spirit of the antichrist already reigns in many churches already.
Where in the Bible does it say there will be a one world government? Are you sure it's in there?
6. Luke 10:18
He(Jesus) replied, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven".
A Hebrew the word for "Lightning" is....Baraq
A Hebrew the word for a high place is...Bamah
In Hebrew the word "vau" is a connector word that sounds like the letter "O".
In Hebrew, "Lightning from Heaven" might be translated as Baraq O Bamah.
Then again this is nothing but a novelty in my opinion. One can make just about anything they want using numerology and definitions of select words and bits of scripture. I wouldnt put much stock into it. Satan will be revealed in the last days.
Additionally the Anti Christs name will equal the number 666(the Hebrew language is alpha numeric, in other words the letters are also numbers).
Baraq Obama doesnt equal 666.
7. MORE SO THAN NOT !!!
8. Oh my gosh, moving governments toward coming together in peace ... what an unjesus idea!
<Sarcasm>
9. This is an interesting question that you pose. Before I delve into your question, I want to clear up what the antichrist means. Are there a specific number of people that are considered antichrists? Many words in the English language are defined just by looking at it. Antichrist is a perfect example.
According to Reasoning from the Scriptures, Antichrist means against or instead of Christ. The term applies to all who deny what the Bible says about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his Kingdom, and all who mistreat his followers. It also includes individuals, organizations, and nations that falsely claim to represent Christ or that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah.
That definition describes more than a specific number of “antichrists.” The numbers are endless. There is no specific amount. This term applies to all that are against Jesus Christ in some form or another. There are more than 3 antichrists to date. The Israelites (Jews) as a nation can be considered antichrists because they rejected Jesus outright and in turn, later being impaled. Remember, the Israelites lost God’s favor as his chosen ones because of this and to add to the fact that they also served false gods of the land and can be thus considered as an antichrist (as a collective group that is) Consider the following scriptures.
1 John 2:18: “Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour.” The term “last hour” refers to the times in which we are living in. Critical times, as 2 Timothy 3:1 mentions or “the last days,” as used in Matthew chapter 24.
2 John 7: “Man deceivers have gone forth into the world, persons not confessing Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.” If you noticed, the term ‘many antichrists’ in 1 John 2:18 is used in a collective sense.
Persons today identified as the antichrist are those who…deny that Jesus is truly the Messiah is today’s example of those identified as the antichrist.
1 John 2:22: “Who is the liar if it is not the one that denies that Jesus is the Christ [or, Messiah, anointed one]? This is the antichrist.” Many people today place Jesus higher than Jehovah God himself, or make him part of a triad (better known as the trinity). In other words, people worship Jesus rather than God. That is rejecting Jesus as the Messiah. Persons today identified as the antichrist are those who…deny that Jesus is the unique Son of God.
1 John 2:22: “This is the antichrist, the one that denies the Father and the Son.” Compare John 10:36 and Luke 9:35. John 10:36:”do YOU say to me whom the Father sanctified and dispatched into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, I am God’s Son?” Luke 9:35: “And a voice came out of the cloud, saying: “This is my Son, the one that has been chosen. Listen to him.”
Jehovah God is that voice from the cloud. It certainly cannot be Jesus talking to himself; thus rejecting Jesus as part of any trinity. The Jews denied Jesus being the Son of God back in ancient times. In fact, they wanted to make him King. Did Jesus seek his own glory? Look at the following scripture.
John 7:16-18: When speaking to the Jews, he said, “What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him that sent me. If anyone desires to do His will, he will know concerning the teaching whether it is from God or I speak of my own originality. He that speaks of his own originality is seeking his own glory; but he that seeks the glory of him that sent him, this one is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him.” Here is evidence that Jesus is not God because he was not put on earth to seek his own glory, but to do the will of His Father Jehovah God.
Persons today identified as the antichrist are…apostates (those once in the truth [or faith], but left the truth and luring the believers to follow them]). 1 John 2:18, 19: “There have come to be many antichrists. . . They went out from us, but they were not of our sort.” Apostates once possessed the truth, but they leave the truth and preach untruths.
Persons today identified as the antichrist are those who…oppose Christ’s true followers. John 15:20, 21: “If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also. . . But they will do all these things against you on account of my name.” During Hitler’s regime, so many Jews were exterminated by order of Hitler. Additionally, Jehovah’s Witnesses were persecuted tremendously. In fact, anyone not hailing Hitler would face adverse consequences. Death, in many cases, resulted.
Persons today identified as the antichrist are…individuals and nations that oppose Christ as King or that they themselves falsely claim the Messianic role. Psalm 2:2: “The kings of the earth take their stand and high officials themselves have massed together as one against Jehovah and against his anointed one [Christ, or Messiah].
