They say that the end of the world will bring many things. It will bring the sudden extinction of live, the anti-christ will reveal himself, bill gates will become poor, and michael jackson will be made a national hero. Probably the worst of it all, yellowstone national park will fianlly go nuts and explode.

People have been trying to figure out who this "Anit-Christ really is. Maybe it is hitler...no.....Napolean....no...Bush...… not them than who? Other speculations have led to Bush, possibly but can't be for sure, and Bill Gates. These two are the main subjects of right now. The thing that we fail to realize is that it could be Obama. He is our final president before 12-21-2012 and yet people think that he is our saivior.

But what about the four horseman? They play a vital role in all of this. Could it be that they live amongst us also? If so then they would be the four richest people in the world. That would mean that they would be Carlos Slim ,Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and 4.Lawrence Ellison. These people could be dangerous because of how much money they have. What couldn't they do if the banded together?

Original basis of the 2012-DEC-21 prophecies:
The prophecy is based on the "precession of the equinoxes" -- a process in which the earth's axis draws a circle across the sky. It takes about 25,765 years years for the earth to complete each cycle. This is called a "Great Year" or "Platonic Year."

As a result of this extremely slow wobbling of the earth's axis, the pole star (a.k.a. north star) changes over time: the star Thuban in the constellation Draco was the northern pole star circa 3000 BCE. Polaris is the current pole star, being only about a half degree offset from the north celestial pole. 1,2 If we wait for about 21,000 years, Thuban will again be the pole star.

For millennia, most astrologers have divided this circle into twelve parts, each called an "Astrological Age," "Precessional Age," or a "Great Month." Associated with each age is one of the twelve signs of the zodiac. Each sign takes about 2,150 years to traverse. 3 We are currently somewhere near the end of Pisces -- the fish -- and near the start of Aquarius -- the water bearer.

Astrologers are an independent lot. The transition from the Age of Pisces to "... the dawning of the age of Aquarius" 4 has been variously estimated as happening on a date between 1447 and 3621 CE. 5 However, many astrologers believe that it has recently happened or will occur in our near future -- perhaps in 2012.

Incredibly, the Babylonians, Cherokees, Egyptians, Hopi, Mayans, Sumerians, and Tibetans all were aware of this 26 millennia-long cycle. Each developed calendars based on this Great Year. 3

The calendar developed by the ancient Mayan civilization is receiving a great deal of attention today. Rather than divide the Great Year into twelve sections, they used only five. These were called "World Ages," "Creation cycles," "b'ak'tun cycle," or "Great Cycle of the Long Count." Each lasts about 5,125.36 of our years. Each of the cycles is in turn subdivided into 13 "Baktun."

Their calendar expressed dates as a series of five numbers. For example, the date: "6.19.18.1.5" means:
6 Baktun,
19 Katun,
18 Tun,
1 Uinal, and
5 Kin

What do you think? Is the end near? Will it matter if you have sinned or not? Is god really the nice person that he says that he is? Will god be the one to bring this all together.........the questions go on. But how is it that when everyone in the world is notified, the people that have the most money will survive? Does that make sence to you? In my oppnion i think that it's all a bunch of crap and it'll be just like y2k all over again. People will gather water, food, and other things of value and hide away in their basement for slavation or something like that. The end is near? No, it's just like that because you think it is.

No the world won't end - no matter how much you desperately look for 'prophecies' and 'signs' and all that Jazz. You are confused by flimsy coincidences.

9. Yes, the end is near -- in the sense that we are closer to the end today than we were yesterday.

People have been saying the 'end is near' for 2010 years... But we are progressing fine. Doing bigger and better things than humans were in the dark ages.

Humanity will thrive. Possibly for another 10,000 years. Possibly even more if we get rid of these insane religious beliefs.

galactical alignments will occur from time to time in this infinite cycle, however this is not the end of the world and never will be.

if we die in 2012, the world doesnt, the journey for all . the huge traffic of souls and minds keep moving and will keep moving between the worlds. the past is infinite, the present is blessing, the future is infinite, and all is reality that we need to understand, there is no end, hence the world never dies.

14. The end of an age is not necessarily the end of the world. Stop confusing one with the other. Things change on this planet whether we like it or not. Does any of this mean that we as people have the power to change it?

The best thing you can do is be a little more tolerant of your fellow man. Otherwise, he might do stupid things out of the lack of rationale and fear. The whole time, believing he's right.

No religion preaches the stupidity that's going on now, I assure you. Does that mean right or wrong? Not certain, but I think I know BS when I see it, and it isn't most of the major religions that are full of it, it's the things that are anti them. Let people believe what they want. They''ll feel better, and so will you, in the long run.
