What is the Message?

Muslims only: What is your opinion regarding 21.12.2012 Doomsday?? :-/?

According to the Mayans, 21.12.2012 is the end of their Mayan calendar, PLUS the end of the universe (i.e., Doomsday of course).
Ironically, this date (as shown above) falls on Friday, on which we Muslims also believe that Doomsday will occur on Friday, no doubt.
So, guys & gals (who are Muslims), I want to know what's your opinion regarding this 21.12.2012 Doomsday.
And for your information, in fact, out of all of the tribes around the world, the Mayans are the only tribe members who are good astronomers & are famous for making such successful prophecies such as the moon eclipse & the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami (if I'm not mistaken).

5. Actually, according to the Mayans it's 12.23.2012. You forgot to adjust your Gregorian calendar there. Not that the Mayans claimed anything of the sort, mind. Or indeed, turned out to be able to predict their own oncoming extinction.

6. I think it's just another propagated conspiracy to keep peoples minds away from important things, like who is really running the American government and what are their real goals in America, Israel and the world.

7. To The Mayans: You have a couple more years to revert to the monotheistic religion of Islam, before it is too late.

Answer: As one of the users said above, no one knows except for al Rab (the Lord). None of us here know the answer, though of course it COULD be this Friday (because of the fact that Judgement day could happen at any given Friday).

8. As mentioned earlier, only God knows when they day of judgement will take place - all the rest who predict it are merely guessing and its all conjecture that does nobody any good. There are signs for it (that can be read in the hadith/traditions of the Prophet (saaws)) but again there are no exact dates.

One hadith on it that wasnt mentioned is that the Prophet was asked about the Hour. He looked towards a young boy and said, "If he lives, he will not grow very old before he sees your Last Hour coming to you."

Look around at the children around you, if they grow up to reach old age your Day of Judgement will have already begun.

9. Is it true that the Day of Judgement will come on a Friday, 10th Muharram?
my question is with regards to the day of judgement. from what i have read in the sahih(accurate) hadith it is stated that the day of judgement will come on friday(10th moharram).My question is if it is friday in saudi arabia then it will be another day in USA and so on....so basically it is never friday all over the world at one time...please answer, this has been troubling me for sometime.

Everyone who gives a specific time or date for the onset of the Day of Judgement is a fabricator and a liar. The onset of the Day of Resurrection is the “Hour” of which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): ‘When will be its appointed time?’ Say: ‘The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He’” [al-A’raaf 7:187]

But when the Day of Resurrection comes, at the time which is known to Allaah, which will be a Friday, then the system of this universe, with its night and day, sun and moon and stars, will be changed. We do not know whether the America which exists today will exist then or not, for Allaah is Able to destroy whichever of these nations He wills before the Day of Resurrection, for Allaah is Able to do all things.

10. You are mistaken.

The Mayans were a stone age culture obsessed with the planet Venus and killing people. They didn't predict anything, as SEEING THE FUTURE IS IMPOSSIBLE! I have no idea why that is such a difficult concept for some people, as most of us figured it out shortly after we gave up watching Scooby Doo.

Prophecy, whether told by someone reading tea leaves or written in some old book, is just a lie.
