What is your opinion on the "2012 Doomsday Prophecy's "? ?

It seems that wherever you go now, you see books and information and people talking about the "2012 Doomsday Prophecy's". Between the Mayan Calender, Nostradamus, The Biblical cryptic & numerical codes, it seems to be a major topic of discussion. Of course, there have been many past "Doomsday Theories" such as Y2K and 9/9/99 prophecy's that have proved to be false. What is your opinion? Is 12/21/2012 the end of time or is it just an ordinary day?

1. Probably, and hopefully, just another day.
I think that the end of the world will be on an unexpected day.
I dont know the exact quote, but it says in the Bible that no man will be able to predict the end. But idk.

3. There has been a lot of endings predicted throughout our history and none of them have happened. I feel that this one will be the same way.

If you want to see some interesting facts about this watch Penn and Tellers bullshit - End of the world. It's funny and you actually learn a lot about it.

4. Since I have no idea what it is based on, I would give it the same credence as if some said it would happen in year 99,999.5 of our era.

It would kind of be a personal funny if it did happen to be true. Nonetheless, I am not stocking up on food for that reason.

5. I think someone ought to study why these sorts of theories are so appealing to the masses, especially after so many, um, shall we call them disappointments?

8. I think it's another lame prophecy. I only believe in one doomsday and that is the Judgment Day from the Bible. And from what I know, Judgment Day doesn't happen with a known date. The one who prophesied that Doomsday is just scaring the hell off your asses! Do yourself a favor. Enough with those mythical shit and get a life!
