1 Thes. 5:2-3
2 For YOU yourselves know quite well that Jehovah’s day is coming exactly as a thief in the night. 3 Whenever it is that they are saying: “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them just as the pang of distress upon a pregnant woman; and they will by no means escape.

10. Jehovah is not in this scripture. It is speaking about Christ and that rendition of the verse is misleading and a perversion of the original intent of the Bible.

The proper rendering is "The day of the Lord shall come as a theif in the night." The Lord Jesus Chist is the one spoken of here not Jehovah.

Have you ever heard of Kingdom Hall? The translation you gave seems to have come from there.

11. If I am not mistaken, that prophesy is to be fulfilled after the Great Tribulation which is a time of great distress on earth. The tribulation will be cut short on account of the chosen ones and there will be many non-believers who survive on account of this. So it is after the tribulation that these non-believers will cry "Peace and Security!" and it is then that sudden destruction (Armageddon) will come upon them and they will by no means escape. Non-believers who escape the tribulation will not escape Armaggedon.
