Bible prophecy isn't much of a prophecy if everybody knows what it is. Don't you agree?

World leaders can easily take a page out of bible prophecy and manipulate people especially christians into believing that it's true by making some of that stuff come truth, i.e., microchips, cloning, ectera.

Public Comments

1. Prophesying is difficult. Especially about the future.

2. That's interesting. Exactly what are the passages that prophesy of microchips and cloning?

3. Your question makes close to zero sense

4. Biblical Prophecy's primary purpose is not predictive but rather supportive.

5. To prophesy actually means to speak the Word of God. If you quote the Bible to someone, it is prophecy. There's no big secret about it.

6. "especially christians"

...

7. um, no if that happened then the giant Jesus in Rio would animate and set things right

8. People fall for it all the time. Life imitating art is often confused with prophecy fulfillment.

9. A short answer (not meaning to be rude but to the point)

I don't agree for the following reasons

1 - Biblical prophecy was often fulfilled by those who were ignorant to it (the Medes and Persians, the Assyrians, the Romans, Alexander the Great, and so on)

2 - It was often fulfilled by those who, if they did know about it, would have done it differently just to avoid giving credit to the God of the Hebrews

3 - Biblical prophecy gives long term prophecies that are fulfilled by those who were unknown to the prophet, whom the prophet had no access to, who have no conspiratal relationship with the prophet or any associated with him or the Bible for that matter.

10. which pages or parts are you talking about? if you dont even know if it is in the bible, then you shouldnt ask the question

11. no they cant....I dont believe everything I hear....prophecy is real when it happens but with humans speaking of future events, it usually doesnt....after rapture chaos will break out guaranteed....dont be here!!

12. Most world leaders don't pay any attention to the Bible. Watching the antics of some of them on the news leads me to believe they are mainly air heads out for a way to make a fortune and gain power no matter who gets in the way.

People who read Bible prophecy don't always understand what they are reading. Some try to symbolize it when God says what He means and means what He says. Some can't believe Revelation is anything but a fantasy. How surprised some will be when it all comes to pass and it won't be long.

News headlines now sound like they came right out of the Bible. There is a plan to microchip everyone by the year 2015. It has been on the news and the history channel. I have a whole article on what God thinks of clones on my website.

13. I disagree:
Bible prophecy is nothing until it comes to pass and every one knows it was a fact. as Dan.9:2,24-27 tells of Messiah first coming to be cut
off.
If no one or everyone neglects the prophecy, no one will know when
it is to happen or when it is happening. Now how could world leaders
cause Jesus to ascend up to heaven. How could you prove to the
decendents of the Promised Land heirs in the land at the first coming
of Jesus, that he was there, until this day, how many believe it ever
happened?

With the second coming of Jesus, all world rule ends. When do we
expect this to happen if we do not know scripture.

How many people in the world would pay attention or even consider
bible prophecy, how many so called Christians know bible prophecy,
the few good men of the bible, or the genealogy of Jesus Matt.1:1-17,
in 3460 years, will not fill over a page at 606 BCE, now 2009 CE, the Judah kings ended 2615 years ago, there will be no king but king Jesus at his second coming and 2520 years afer year 3460, begans
the time of the end, Dan.12:1-9, Rev.12:7-12, Satan has a short time
in the time of the end, it has now been 95 years for Satan's short
time, it will end at Rev.20:1-6,12,13; no Satan 1000 years, what would
world leaders do with this prophecy if they did read it and did believe
it, if so called Christians never bother with bible time, who else will?

If the bible said WW1 was going to happen would world leaders cause it to happen? How could they know that if Christians do not know it?
