What is the Message?

Do you fear 2012 doomsday cults might become terrorist organizations?

I mean even on yahoo answers in the Astronomy and Space category there is at least one 2012 doomsday fanatic, that uses sock puppets to report the questions of top contributors that debunk the 2012 myth. I fear if people like this join a 2012 doomsday cult, horrific crimes on humanity may be committed. An attempt at a self fulfilling prophecy if you will, it has happened before.

Something else that bothered me today was the amount of people that wished an asteroid would strike the Earth as well as other means of causing human extinction. I think a lot of people just want to believe in 2012 doomsday prophecy because they wish it would happen.
I just hope there isn't a 2012 zealot working at a nuclear power plant on 12/21/2012

1. I sometimes take a look around and wished ALL the BAD people would die! the good people that want a better world for mankind deserve to live, i just think the bad and ignorant and careless people deserve to die.

2. no, they're harmless. They believe what they believe and that's it. You might get a few nutcases amongst them, but then you get nuts in every walk of life.

3. I think that 2012 is just another idiotic end-of-the-world lunacy that should just be ignored. But the one thing that I'm worried about is some rabid believer making 2012 come true.

LOL I enjoy astronomy and learning about stars/planets/galaxies etc so I like going to that section and just reading answers and questions....well, here lately there has been some crazies hanging out there! Some of the regulars are afraid of getting their accounts suspended if they disagree with that 2012 guy. He/she supposedly reports anyone who tells him 2012 end of the world is a myth.

I think right now (for the most part) people who believe in it are more afraid than anything else. I doubt a lot of them would directly try to bring about any destruction.....however, there are always extremists in any group.........

5. No, most of the 2012ers couldn't hold down a job.

They are too busy sorting their 12 cases of Oxy-Clean and 144 Sham-Wows.

Really, try not to believe everything people tell you.
