What is the Message?

Do the doomsday prophecies for 2012 have scientific support?

The Mayan Calendar is the basis for most of these so-called prophecies, but it does not specifically say that doomsday will come in 2012. Their calendar just happens to end in that year. It had to end at some point, since no one can make an eternal calendar. Is there any solid scientific support?

Their calendar has to do with the cosmos NOT the future!

6. I cannot wait until 2013. I am going to take 1 year off of work and travel the whole earth looking for as many "mayans" as I can find. Then I am going round them all up in a large field, hook up a loud microphone, and laugh at them and their dumb calendar until I pass out.

8. they were talking about this on the news this morning.

Supposedly, there will be a Katrina like solar storm that will hit the earth in 2012.

Though no one bothered to explain how they came to this conclusion.

My thoughts on this is pretty simple.

too many times, both religion and science have warned us of terrible things to happen on very pinpointed dates, and not one ever came to pass.

If something has a date attached to it, I've learned to take it with a grain of salt.

9. Prophets, Mayans, Hopi, Egyptians Nostradamus, Merlin, Edgar Case, the bible and more prophets have all come up with the date 12/21/20012 for the end of the world.

It is not far away. And that date is the start date for this prophesies

Many scientists and researchers all support the claim. Of course, no one has absolute proof. But if you are watching the documentaries on the history channel there are many researchers and scientists that can support the end of the world by catastrophe

10. The sun wobbles on its axis,this is is caused by the effects of gravity from planets.This wobble causes sun flairs of different intensity depending on how severe the wobble is.Due to planetary position in 2012 it is expected to be severe.Thus it could have severe effects on earth.

Something like Pentagon calculations of our position in our galaxy.
