What is the Message?

Is anyone else a little worried if the doomsday prophecy of 2012 will actualy happen?

There is a doomsday prophecy said to take place on 12 12 2012 and im alittle curious how many people believe it is a possibility too.I mean not to sound religious or anything but in the Christian Bibles Armaggedon chapter it makes reference to a disease that will affect and kill many that could bhe this mrsa superbug. Next there is a reference to a one world currency well the dollar is tanking and the euro is growing its kinda weird but does anyone else think we may be at the end of times??

When you predict the end of the world, all you are doing is predicting the day you will become a laughing stock.

6. No, I don't think we are at the end of times. If we are, it won't have anything to do with a prophecy.

8. No. The end of the world will come when God wants it to, not the Mayans.

9. I'm not sure. Its been predicted by several remarkable ancient civilizations, so something must have happened for them to predict such a thing. Perhaps a meteor made its orbit near earth, and after estimating the velocity and the diameter of its orbit they determined that it would collide with Earth in a few thousand years. But I'm not worried. I've accepted my death, and it won't matter too much when it happens.

12. well whenever it happens im still a little worried because alot of the prophesies that that were made in revelations are coming true so the end is near....but when?

13. Why waste precious time on this earth fearing anything? One could be fearful up until 2012 and then it not happen.

I for one, don't care one way or another. There have been so many prophecies through the years, by every religion, and none have turned out to be true. I know some who were saving food, and water and counting the days to "the end" and it never came.

If "doomsday" comes, so what. I believe that there is nothing to fear in death, that we continue on. Leaving our bodies behind and the essence of who we are, carries on. If this is true, what is there to fear.

Wouldn't it better to spend the time, up until 2012 being happy, content and loving, instead of fearful, scared and frightened. Which path are you going to take?

Me? I am going to live my life and not worry about 2012, because I personally consider that a waste of precious time.

14. Everything is going to be okay, don't worry. One thing you have to put in consideration is that if you lived back then and you foresaw something that you could not imagine anyone surviving, you might assume that what you were seeing was the end of the world. So hypothetically speaking, let's say wayyyy back in the day, someone saw a virus that killed a million people...well, if you lived in a village back then and you thought that roughly a million people existed in the world then you would see it as being the end, right?

The Mayan calendar ends in 2012 but it had to end eventually right? There's is no such thing as a man made eternal calendar that goes on forever. So maybe they just got tired of writing it, maybe we are misinterpeting it, or maybe they just ran out of time.

Regardless, don't let fear get to you. We'll find out in 2012. ;)

The end of times was a modern invention by an evangelical nutcase. The bible does not support this abberation.

17. No. of course is not. Throughout history every year was predicted to be the last. There have been many so called signs. The very nostradamus (All bullshit) that people believe in is because they want to believe it and thats how they interpret it.otherwise no it is not true. again this is propaganda. If its going to happen it will happen until then live your life, dont wait in a hole scared of whats going to happen if nothing happens then u see u wasted all this time worrying. STOP wait until something happens and then worry about it. the other way around is illogical. Stop and live your life and enjoy it.
