21st December 2012 doomsday prophecy?

According to various prophecies across time and across the world from the Myans to the bible, the book of revelations, and merlin, and the ancient art of I Ching, supported nmow by BIOnet and NASA the earth is enroute for a line up with the black hole in the centre of the milky way, which will bring about its destruction.

9. This isnt the first time a prophecy has been made by many sources concerning the destruction of the world and it wont be the last. I'll finish my answer in January of 2013 to prove it.

The only thing that could get us near the galactic BH would be the collision with Andromeda but that's a long, long time from now.

As for the rest of prophesy.
It could happen, but it doesn't matter, the worst that could happen would be that we all die.

15. I don't know, hasn't our solar system cylcled through this part of the galaxy before? I know we are in for a catastrophic event soon, but how bad or when, who knows. I have heard of this prophecy though. The Mayan calendar is much more accurate than the Julian calandar.

17. The dating for the doomsday thing, rubbish. No one knows the exact when. Will there be a distinct end of this age, and will the prophecy of the Bible be fulfilled, well, the "batting record" for Biblical prophecy is accuracy 1, error 0, and it could be considered the top of the ninth inning with error at 0 runs, not hits, all errors, and no one ever getting to first base, while Biblical prophecy is all home runs, no fouls, outs or anything else accept for being true.
Based on historical record, and the "when" various things have happened, I believe that I can predict an event that will most likely coincide with the "rapture" of the church. The root beginning was at Pass over when Jesus was crucified, the church began at Pentecost which is the festival of First Fruits. What comes next in line is the Feast of Tabernacles, and that comes at the end of harvest. So, in some future year, I would expect the church, that is all Christians and those who are innocent, such as babies and the very young children, to suddenly disappear from the earth. What comes next is more misery than anyone has ever experienced.

18. Personally - my view is that the Bible makes it clear that no man knows the day or the hour when Christ will come. The end comes after that. The Bible doesn't specifically give a date when the end will come or when Christ will come.

All other forms of prophecy are false because they come from false prophets. Only the prophets of God are to be believed.

19. It is yet another end-of-the-world prediction, one of thousands across the last two thousand years. Nothing has happened, nothing will happen this time. Oh, Earth will go the way planets go (and stars and even galaxies), but not for several million years. And long, long after our species does what all species on Earth do, become extinct.

21. These prophecies were made by people who knew they would not be around at this date. I personally think it will finish in 2098.! Of course being clueless they copy each each other to make it sound better.

The interesting thing is that if it is true and people are saying it is--we can't do anything about it anyway--so why worry--it isn't like any of us can run and hide or survive the end of the world. There is no special list of people to be saved---no one will be immune--and there is no promise that anyone will be here tomorrow. I see dead people at work--they weren't expecting to go out and die--sometimes they just step off a curb and" whammo"--it is over.!! Just make the most of each second you are alive. If we don't all die in 2012---those of you who said it was a crock of poop can say "SEE I TOLD YOU ". If we do die-we can stand around in line at the pearly gates saying "THEY WERE RIGHT". Make sure you have on clean underwear--just in case---God wouldn't want to judge us in dirty drawers. Good luck

23. The part which can be prooved with evidence is that the Sun will move to galactic center.. no doubt.

its a simple calculation on time line, across suns orbit.

and also the galactic center is the home of blackholes, is also true because it has the highest concentration of energy and also the highest gravity.

Same like saying that he electron nearest to the nucleus have the highest risk of falling into the nucleus.

What will be the impact on life, anyone can imagine, depending on how realistically you can understand this situation.

ignorance is not key to everything. Do not ignore think about it.

as for all this fortune telling or i ching... i dont know it just doesnt seem worrying. and these pages in century old prophesy books that read the "every 18th letter" and come up with some ancient telling of future goings on eg. the two towers. i dont know how to explain that other than coincidence but everyone has their own opinions and if peeps wanna worry they will...

by the way if the earth was heading towards a big black hole do you not think it would be pretty cool to see that happen cuz even though we'd all most probably die ( because i think its gotta go somewhere, hasnt it?)... at least it wouldnt be a boring ending to our known universes most destructive ET's

Scientists are predicting a very active sunspot cycle. One that will put the one in 2001 to shame. In that one, communication satellites were damaged and there were problems with power grids around the world. They are suspecting that the gamma rays will be significant enough to potentially destroy some satellites and some ground equipment. Worse, they are certain of a big CME (Coronal Mass Ejection). Their only hope is that we are not facing that side of the sun when it happens.
