There is an old troubador prophecy that "the laurel will bloom again in 700 years". What does this mean?

After the cathar heresy was exterminated in the thirteenth century in the albigensian crusade in what is now southern France, there was a prophecy that the "laurel will bloom again in 700 years." In 1244 the cathars were captured and burned at Montsegur. In 1945 the Nag Hammadi library was discovered in Egypt. Is there a connection?

1. The voice of the Lord is unto all men, and there is none to escape; and there is no eye that shall not see, neither ear that shall not hear, neither heart that shall not be penetrated.

And the rebellious shall be pierced with much sorrow; for their iniquities shall be spoken upon the housetops, and their secret acts shall be revealed.

2. o yeah? Was this prophecy in the dead sea scrolls?

Or what? where is the record of it?

3. I wouldn't get hung up on numbers of years. I take it to mean that ideas are perennial. You can suppress an idea for centuries but eventually it will resurface.
