What is the Message?

Since the biblical prophecy has been fulfilled and the Jews are back in the holy land, what next?

What's the prophecy say next? Will there ever be peace between Israelis and Palestinians? Is God ever going to ride down on his chariot of clouds?

5. Only 1/2 of the world's Jewish population is back in Israel. For the Jewish Messiah to come, ALL Jews have to be in the Holy Land.

Jesus of Nazareth was NOT God, the Son of God, the Jewish Messiah, or anything else besides a normal Jewish man.

7. Well, there needs to be an Anti-Christ, and a false prophet. The completion of the evil trinity will bring the end of mankind, and the kingdom of God will be open to the remaining believers. I believe Obama to be one of the two. He's either the anti-christ or false prophet, which i'm not sure.

If someone prophesied that you were going to come home from work, would you coming home from work make the prophecy true?

And besides what about all the "prophesies" that didn't come true? such as Ezekiel 29 where King Nebuchadezzar was supposed to take over Egypt, but all the history books say that King Amasis sent the army of babylon packing.

9. During the generation of the fig tree, which we are in now, the Anti Christ will enter the picture, in the Greek text, Anti is really "instead of". He will come as Christ, bringing peace to the world and a one world banking system, that is, along as you worship him. This will last 5 months, then Jesus Christ returns.

The actual prophecy is that the messiah will gather ALL the Jews "from the four corners of the earth" and bring ALL of them back to Israel.

Just because the land of Israel was finally returned to the Jews, doesn't mean that the prophecy was fulfilled that ALL of the Jews will return there. It hasn't been, yet.

15. Armageddon. Nuclear war to bring this world to a end, thus, speeding up Jesus (Savior) to 'save' the righteous and smite the unbelievers. I know ridiculous!!

16. Easy speeder,,,, it takes a while. The references to Him returning His people to the holy land: did that happen by the miraculous hand of God "returning them from all nations on the wings of eagles" ? or did a bunch of men at the end of WWII stuff a bunch of people on busses headed for palestine? It says that when He returns them, then He will dwell with them in person , and we will love Him and He will Be our God. IThere is a little thing with the battle of Megiddo that is the answer to your question. If this is indeed the time, I think the next thing on the itinerary is the battle of armegeddon

17. Prophecy shmophecy. Both sides are completely out of line and need to get over themselves. They are fighting over one of the most unattractive and worthless scraps of land on our gigantic planet, and their conflicts are spilling over into the rest of the world. I condemn every one of them for "defending" themselves. Punching a random person in the face because some other random person once punched you in the face doesn't make you righteous. It makes you retarded.

The difficulty with prophecies is that we have to understand them without our own filters - too often when I read of Rapture theology or other attempts to put a timeline on the end times, everything happens rapidly. It's like God's plan but on man's time and terms. A Christian should hope for the Second Coming but expect to die without seeing it.

If you ask the Jews about Israel, they say the Messiah will not come until the temple is rebuilt in Jerusalem.
