Christians always use the Messianic Prophecy to prove Christ?

Christians always use the Messianic Prophecy to prove Christianity and that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. My question is do any of the Pagan religions and Pagan gods have Prophecy about a promised God for example a Prophecy about a Virgin Birth ?

Public Comments

1. The time He would begin His ministry, the way He would die, the life He would live, the way people would mock Him, the fact that He would rise again, the city of His birth, the time He would die, the way He was born, a messenger that would go before Him, the way He would be buried. All point to one man, Jesus. There are over 300 Messianic prophecies, the odds of such occurring are next to nothing apart from God working miracles. No other religion has such clear fulfillment and such clear prophecy.

Highly recommend this documentary...

2. Fulfilled Prophecy makes Christianity stand out from all other religions!

3. I am confused by the question.

Are you suggesting that a pagan religion gave a prophesy that was fulfilled hundreds of years later?
Or are you suggesting that Pagan religions have made some wild claims that have never come true?

The big difference, if making the comparison, is the part about the prophesy coming true. I know pagans can tell stories.

Try asking your question in reverse. Are there any Pagan worshipers who chose not to believe rather than be tarred and lit like a candle as Nero did the Christians?

The answer would be NO.

Hope this helps
