What is the Message?

Can anyone give me some good examples of biblical prophecy?

So, I've noticed that many Christians claim that prophecies are proof of the Bible's authority, but I've never heard any very convincing biblical prophecies. Most are vague or self-fulfilling. Can anyone provide a good, clear-cut example of a fulfilled biblical prophecy?

1. The part where Jesus talked about the last days, there would be earthquakes, famine, nations fighting nations, etc...........

2. Psalms 22 comes to mind, but I think Gen. 3:15 is the first.

3. Mt 24:34 Most assuredly I tell you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished.
This all happened by 70 A.D.

4. you will See what will hapend next they will be surprised when Jesus comes back like muslim and when all professes get twisted on End ..So that is wisdom of God..Christian hateful prophecies are nothing then political bullshit ...Death to all prophecies ,freedom

6. prophecy is a law word, speaks of gloom and doom;
something Christ-ians should never do, since
Christ is the end of the law (gloom and doom)

prophesy is a grace word, speaks of comfort only;
So Christ-ians should prophesy, not propecy

7. A prophecy to all my fellow american's
Proverbs;24; 20, for there shall be no reward to the evil man ( obama); the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
24;21, My son fear thou the Lord & the king: & meddle not with them that are given to CHANGE.

8. A few.

1) Prophesy says that the Roman empire would reform in the end days.
It has, but is now called The EU.
2) Prophesy says that the world will be divided into 10 kingdoms.
The "Club of Rome" has already divided the world into 10 parts.

3) Prophesy says that one man would rule, with 10 kings under him, 7 loyal, 3 not.
(This part is still speculation, but it does fit the prophesy.)
The UN currently has 15 countries that rotate control, but are talking of reduce it to 10 so a nation will come back into power sooner, and they can get more done sooner.
If each ruled for 6 months, as they do now, then 7 could give their power to one man, and he would rule for 3 1/2 years, exactly as prophesy says.
Please note that the person writing the prophesy could have picked any numbers or duration of time if these had been written by lairs, as many claim. Instead. they picks the correct numbers and duration of time to fit this.
4) Prophesy says that the NWO will rule from Babylon.
the UN is looking into moving to Babylon to get out of New York, and away from the grime and traffic.
5) Prophesy says that there will be a one world religion.
In 2008, representatives from every major, except Christianity, met to discuss how to blend all the religions into one that would be acceptable to all.
Christian representatives were barred from attending.

There are many more, Earthquakes, wars, famine, pestilence(disease), but I was trying to post political ones. Ones that show that the person writing them, KNEW not only that things would continue and increase, but that new events would happen, and they told what these events were, proving that they knew about details.

9. i will give you a few examples of some you probably never heard of before

The first one will be easy the Birth of Christ written in Isaiah around 701-680 BC and was fulfilled in or around 5 BC .About 700 years after Isaiah wrote about it.
Isaiah 7:14:Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.(God with us).Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Even the city in which he would be born Prophesied in the book of Micah sometime between 750-686 BC and was fulfilled around 5BC and its written this way
Micah 5:1-2:---1 Marshal your troops, O city of troops, for a siege is laid against us. They will strike Israel's ruler on the cheek with a rod.
2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times."

Jesus being crucified foretold in Isaiah 53 around 701-681BC and fulfilled around 31 AD and written this way ;Isaiah 53:4-6:-----4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

The Book of Zechariah tells of it as well in chapter 12 it being written around 520-518BC and fulfilled
about 31AD and stated this way;Zechariah 12:10:"And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son

Thats just examples, one is even Israel becoming a Nation in ONE Day as it was foretold in Isaiah 66 around agian 701-681 BC and was fulfilled May 14 1948 and is stated this way in the Bible
Isa 66:8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

And even today we see Bible prophecy being fulfilled even now in the great valley birds of prey are being gathered for the great slaughter which is to come prophecied in the Book of Revelations
chapter 19 :17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great
TODAY March 27.2010 the Great Griffin Vulter has returned to Israel and the mighty birds of prey,that hasnt been seen in centuries now are gathering over the great Vally and on its clift face.

Space prevents me from telling you about the trees prophecied in Isaiah that Today grow in Israel, it foretells of the Shekel being the currency in the later days foretold in Ezekiel, Today in Israel the Shekel is the In State currency......
The Prophecy of the pure language of Hebrew the old language NOW the language of the people of Israel. The Prophecy of the Sweet wine foretold in Joel that today is being produced ( not additives or fermented man made trash) but Pure wine of the Vine that was spoke of through out the entire Bible.

Productivity prophecied in Deuteronomy tells of future production in the land of Israel , Today Israel produces more crops,and ships to more countries than any other and that includes the U.S.

Also with that said the prophecy of Irregation. Israel was a waste land and laid barren but Now is growing trees and produce and many other things that it never produced cause of its barren land, today it is Green and flourishing as it was foretold through out the entire Bible.

The prophecy of the sower TODAY is being fulfilled in Israel
Amo 9:13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

TODAY in Israel they plant on one side of the SAME Field and reap from the other end of that Same field the produce and in the middle is still growing ALL in the Same field

And again the Sweet wine prophecy foretold here as well.....

i could go on and on, just trying to allow you to see EVERYTHING the Bible Foretold Has and IS Taking PLace Exactley as it is Told they Would !!!

the prophesy, was that these cities would be torn down, and even the dust of them would be cast into the sea

think of this being New York city, (of the time)

alexander the great came along, sieged the city, and they escaped to an island, he had his troops use the rubble of the city to build a cause way to the island and they even scraped the dirt of the city to walk on,

there are a lot of minor examples like this, and it does not establish the authority per se of the bible, but it establishes the truthfulness of the one speaking, who speaks for the LORD

the bible itself establishes its authority as the word of God, but do not be confused as to what this means, for the bible contains the words of men, angels (fallen as well as good), and the testimony of God himself,

it is a document, but it is the Word of God

11. Prophecy coming to pass is one way to test a TRUE PROPHET of the LORD.

That is why the bible has been tested tried & found true.

There are so many. And you can just do a net search for Bible Prophecy or Messiah Prophecies fulfilled.

12. If you research the steps in prophecy that led to Jesus death, you will see all "prophesies" were fulfilled, even the day He died, Passover (He was our "sacrificial Lamb"). Even that no bones would be broken on Him, as they did for all who were crucified, so they could not push up to get their breath. There are over one hundred "Truths" fulfilled here.
