1. Christ rose from the dead. He walked the earth for another 40 days and was seen by over 500 then He ascended to heaven. He was written about by the secular historian "Josephus" so it is not only recorded in the scriptures.

2. Steiner answers as simply as I could, but let me try to add a bit more.

The Tomb of Jesus is empty. That was the "sign" He gave that He WAS in fact, God's Son, the Way, the Truth, the Life, the only way to God. The Sign was that he would be dead and buried for 3 days & nights and then be raised to Life. Praise God, HE DID!
